Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (Key Hole Surgery for removal of uterus)

Patients with previous caesarean scar and severe endometriosis are particularly challenging and should be operated by expert gyne laparoscopic surgeons in order to avoid complications. If the size of the uterus is more than 3 months pregnancy size or more than that, then the surgery is technically more challenging and again needs expert surgical skill for removal. There are alternatives to hysterectomy when u have no cancer. We put LNG-IUS for patients with excessive bleeding when there is no cancer in the endometrial biopsy report. This works excellent and can prevent hysterectomy in up to 70% of cases.
