Hysteroscopic surgeries for abnormal uterine bleeding

Patients with abnormal uterine bleeding who are more than 35 years and patients with post menopausal bleeding need hysteroscopy and endometrial aspiration as diagnostic work up and evaluation. Many cases of pre cancerous and cancerous lesions can be easily picked up via hysteroscopy and managed accordingly. Focal abnormalities are sometimes missed during blind endometrial sampling.
